Community Hospice Hosts a Death Café, an Open Conversation About Death and Dying
Join Community Hospice for a virtual Death Café on Thursday, October 21 at 7:00 PM on Microsoft Teams. A Death Café is a casual gathering for adults 18 and older, focused around an open, positive, judgment-free discussion about death and dying. As we continue through this COVID pandemic, many of us have reflected on our own mortality. What does that mean for how we live? Can talking about our views on death improve the quality of our lives? What thoughts and curiosities and end-of-life issues do we have? What experiences with death and questions do we have about death and dying? Please grab a cup of tea or coffee and join us for an unstructured discussion about our thoughts and feelings, fears and wonderings. We encourage you to listen or share as you feel comfortable. Maybe through this event, we can be set free to live our best lives.
The Death Café will meet in a virtual format using Microsoft Team. Nothing will be recorded, and confidentiality is a must. Space is limited. To RSVP, contact the Bereavement Care Team at Community Hospice at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-800-947-7284.
