The Community Hospice House

The Hospice House is a Gift for the Community.

Thanks to all those generous donors, a long-time dream is soon to become a reality.

The Community Hospice House is about living every day as a gift. When staying at home or going home is not an option, the Hospice House can provide care for you and your loved ones. This state-of-the-art care setting is designed to promote comfort, family, and peace. Imagine a place where everyone is committed to supporting you physically, emotionally and spiritually and anytime is visiting time. It's a place where many generations come together and family members are relieved of care-giving duties. Families can focus on each other, while experienced clinicians focus on your loved one's well-being and comfort. You can rest, participate in activities, or sit quietly by the fireplace - the choice is yours.

The Community Hospice House is not a hospital, a nursing home, an assisted living community or a rehabilitation facility, but a comfortable home-like setting where compassionate experienced nurses and support staff provide 24-hour care to patients. The Hospice House can be utilized for pain and symptom management as well as respite and residential care. Community Hospice House is for short stays and is an option when the patient needs pain management, control of other distressing symptoms or an around-the-clock nursing presence. The facility also has a low patient to nurse ratio and 24-hour physician directed care.

The Community Hospice House is a 12-bed inpatient facility in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Our Hospice House is located in Tuscarawas County near the Route 77 & 250 interchange for easy access from the surrounding counties of Stark, Holmes, Wayne, Carroll, and Harrison counties.
